Tzu Chi Medical Centre of Traditional Chinese Medicine Canada Foundation

Tzu Chi Medical Centre of Traditional Chinese Medicine Canada Foundation (Tzu Chi Medical Foundation Canada, or TCMC²) was established in August of 2013 with a mission to promote Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and to enhance its service and application to improve the health condition of the general public. TCMC² currently operates three regular TCM clinics—the Aboriginal Mother Centre, the Helping Spirit Lodge, and the Sumas First Nation—supporting the wellness of First Nations residents. In addition, TCMC² collaborated with Burnaby Hospital Foundation (BHF) and set up a TCM clinic within Burnaby Hospital to take care of the public’s health with community health care system. Overall, TCMC² has served more than 2,100 patients-visits at the five sites and received very positive feedbacks from all concerned.
