Hsien-Ju Claire KAO is a graduate of the five-year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) program at PCU College of Holistic Medicine. She is a licensed Dr. TCM by the CTCMA in BC. She has lived and travelled around the world with different domain working experiences. She has studied acupuncture and TCM herbal medicine with and been taught by some of the great masters in China, Taiwan, USA and Germany. She’s also a certified Aura-Soma colour therapist, a past life regression practitioner and a Tibetan singing bowl practitioner.

Dr. Kao has been practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine in B.C. since 2008. Currently she has a general practice in Vancouver west with a focus on internal medicine, gynecology, pain syndrome, dermatology, withdrawal syndrome and mental disorder. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kao is involving with TZU CHI International Medical Association. She has been assigned as an out-reach TCM clinic doctor at Aboriginal Mother Centre since Jan 2014 and at Helping Spirit Lodge Society since Oct 2014.

She also has been supervising college student clinic and teaching TCM foundation at International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver since 2012.
